Host a Community Vaccine Clinic
Let's get vaccinated, District 66! IDPH has created an opportunity for organizations to host a vax clinic at your community site! Community Partner Vaccination Clinics are closed-pod vaccination events, which means the event is not open to the general public. Closed-pods are used as a way for community organizations to bring vaccine directly to their communities.
HB2748 and HB2433 Passed!
I am excited to announce that my bills: HB2748 and HB2433 passed on the House Floor last week! Both bills will help to further support and protect vulnerable populations in our community. HB2748 allows for an additional year of in-person learning for students with developmental disabilities, and their families, who have "aged-out" of their schooling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Community Conversations
Representative Ness regularly hosts community events and district office hours to hear directly from residents. These events provide an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about current legislation and available resources.
Types of events may include:
• Town halls
• Mobile office hours
• Coffee in the community gatherings
• Resource fairs
• Community outreach visits
Event details, dates, and locations will be posted below as they are scheduled.
