Ness carries HB4828 on behalf of the McHenry County Board
I was pleased to carry HB4828 on behalf of the McHenry County Board. The bill is an initiative to repeal a law that unfairly targeted McHenry County. The law does a disservice to the taxpayers of McHenry County as it is currently written.

Education Services Extended for Students with Special Needs
Governor JB Pritzker signed HB 2748 into law, allowing special education students to continue attending school through the end of the school year in which they turn 22. The package also allows special needs students who recently turned 22 and were impacted by COVID-19 to remain eligible for educational services...
