In concurrence with our office’s Citizen Advisory Committee on Supporting Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Representative Ness will be hosting a Parent/Caregiver Listening Session on Monday, December 13th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at our District Office. The listening session will be an opportunity for caregivers to share their experience navigating assistance and care in the state of Illinois, as well as share anything else that they would like with Representative Ness. Our hope is to create constituent-driven legislation around gaps in care and help connect families to resources.
