This Valentine’s Day, let’s show extra appreciation for those working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. State Representative Suzanne Ness and State Representative Anna Moeller are collecting valentines and notes of gratitude to share with health care workers who serve our community.
In recognition of National Diaper Need Awareness Week, my office will be collecting diapers and other baby-related items to donate to the D300 Food Pantry on Monday, October 11th through Sunday, October 17th. We have partnered with sites throughout District 66 to ensure donation drop-offs are convenient for residents. Please see a full list of donation drop-off locations.
The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) continues to monitor new phishing schemes targeting individuals. Bad actors posing as IDES representatives are trying to trick individuals into disclosing their personal information through text, email, and social media messages.
Let's get vaccinated, District 66! IDPH has created an opportunity for organizations to host a vax clinic at your community site! Community Partner Vaccination Clinics are closed-pod vaccination events, which means the event is not open to the general public. Closed-pods are used as a way for community organizations to bring vaccine directly to their communities.
Thank you to our awesome volunteer team for dedicating their Saturday morning to picking up trash at Fetzner & Woodscreek Park. Thank you to the Crystal Lake Park District, and Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce for organizing this community-wide clean up event.
